Summary | Formerly called the Least Restrictive Environment Survey, this self-assessment tool helps districts examine their policies, procedures, and practices in supporting educational options for students with disabilities. It supports efforts by district teams to identify and prioritize needs, stimulate discussions regarding improvement strategies, and develop and implement action plans. The tool provides descriptors for each of the seven areas of the District Assistance and Intervention Team Standards:
