This self-assessment helps LEAs focus on the attainment of English language proficiency and academic standards for English learners (EL) and can identify potential issues and areas for improvement regarding instructional programs for EL. The spreadsheet serves as a template for data entry, with formulae for calculations provided. Prompts are included to guide discussions about the data.
